During the 2010 SIFE China South Regional Competition which was held on April 27th in Sun Yat-sen University, UIC SIFE team defeated Xiamen University and Shenzhen University, and successfully advanced to 2010 SIFE China National Competition, which will be held on May 21 in Shanghai. Si Tianjiao, Captain of UIC SIFE team, was named the Best Captain in South China Region.
Thirteen teams took part in the SIFE China South Regional Competition. UIC SIFE team was in the same group with Xiamen University, Shantou University and Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. The UIC team presented the newly developed Happy Farm Project and Unilever Project in addition to the traditional UNI-COLOR Environmental Friendly Bags Project. In the end, the UIC team scored second of the four competing teams and advanced to the SIFE China finals with other 5 teams.
